Grocery POS Software Technician – Portland/Salem, OR
Retail Data Systems is looking for a motivated Field Service Technician located in Portland, OR to maintain Point-of-Sale systems. RDS is a rapidly expanding company with a growing customer base. This is a customer-facing position, primarily in the grocery retail segment, and requires direct engagement with our customers as well as other members of the RDS Organization. This position also requires long driving distances.
Responsibilities:
- Providing on-site hardware and phone support including diagnosing and solving equipment and software issues
- Assisting in preparation, configuration and installation of POS equipment
- Maintaining parts inventory
- Excellent customer service skills are required
- Must be self-motivated, organized and punctual
- Ability to work as a team member to provide excellent customer service
- Good driving record and able to travel to customer sites in your area
- Background and motor vehicle record check required
