Retail Data Systems is looking for a motivated Hospitality Software Support professional to join our Lenexa, KS office. RDS is the largest independent provider of Point of Sale in North America, and our Kansas City team services grocery and hospitality customers across Kansas and Missouri.
This is a customer-facing position that requires direct engagement with our customers as well as close collaboration with other members of the RDS organization. If you are a patient problem-solver who enjoys hands-on technical work and helping customers succeed, RDS is the perfect place for you!
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues for hospitality POS environments.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace point of sale, POS, PC, and computer hardware.
- Image, reimage, and back up point of sale equipment using Acronis and Ghost.
- Work with customers daily to resolve operating system, network, software, and hardware issues.
- Assist with POS system project planning.
- Install POS systems and provide customer training.
What You'll Need:
- Knowledge of network connectivity and security, including wired and wireless networks.
- Experience with current and past Windows operating systems.
- Experience building, troubleshooting, and testing PC hardware.
- A friendly and patient demeanor when working with customers.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
